NEW ZEALAND GREENSHELL™ MUSSELS

Because it is so abundant and vital to our planet, the sea has always been a rich and bountiful source of life. It is in the clean, unpolluted waters of New Zealand that the unique Greenshell™ Mussel is grown. Often referred to as the sea’s ‘nutritional storehouse’, the remarkable New Zealand Greenshell™ Mussel thrives by feeding on algae, phytoplankton and natural organic matter carried to them by the ocean currents.

The New Zealand Greenshell™ Mussel concentrates all the natural nutrients and its goodness from the crystal clear waters of New Zealand into a perfectly balanced combination, in a way that only Mother Nature can. These include a broad spectrum of natural vitamins, minerals, high quality proteins, many amino acids including all the essential and the most important of them all, marine glycosaminoglycan (GAG).

Key Components

GLYCOSAMINOGLYCAN (GAG) “THE GLUE OF LIFE”
Researchers have found that New Zealand Greenshell™ Mussels are rich in glycosaminoglycan (GAG). Scientists have long known the vital role that glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) play in the production and maintenance of the body’s living tissues in both man and animals. These complex carbohydrates provide essential structural components for the cell walls, mucous membranes and the connective tissue of bones, teeth, tendons and cartilage. Glyosaminoglycans (GAGs) are also essential to the healthy functioning of the cardiovascular, lymphatic and endocrine systems, along with the arterial and capillary walls. They also play a major role in the corneal and retinal fluid of the eyes and synovial fluid of the joints. Whenever there is a breakdown or the inability to build healthy body tissue or a decline in the immune system, Glyosaminoglycans (GAGs) are extremely important.

OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS

According to some studies there was a decrease in blood pressure with significantly high dosage of Omega-3 fatty acids. Greenshell™ Mussel Powder also contains anti-inflammatory components and other nutrients that may benefit joint health.
